Position Summary

 The Integration Project Manager leads and coordinates the successful execution of integration activities resulting from mergers, acquisitions, or other strategic initiatives. Serving as a key connector between the integration team, organizational leadership, data teams, and acquired entities, this role supports seamless operational, cultural, and strategic alignment throughout the transition process.

In addition to overseeing project management responsibilities, this role requires hands-on individual contributor work. The Integration Project Manager is expected to actively participate in project tasks and contribute directly to deliverables, ensuring hands on support across all phases of integration.

This role is accountable for managing all project timelines, tracking task completion, and driving progress through critical milestones. It involves cross-functional collaboration, and proactive stakeholder engagement to ensure timely and successful execution of integration goals.

Essential Functions

 
  • Oversee and monitor all phases of the integration project to ensure timely and successful execution.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and team members to maintain alignment, gather input, and drive collaboration.
  • Attend project meetings and document key discussions, decisions, and action items with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Partner with project teams and stakeholders to navigate the execution phase, proactively resolving obstacles and maintaining consistent engagement from assigned resources.
  • Ensure high-quality communication throughout project implementation, including coordination of training sessions, documentation, and organizational announcements.
  • Deliver regular and effective updates to project teams and leadership, keeping all parties informed of progress, risks, and changes.
  • Contribute directly to project tasks and deliverables as an individual contributor, supporting hands-on execution alongside team members. Utilize project management software and collaboration tools such as Atlassian or equivalent platforms to track progress, tasks, manage workflows and ensure transparency.
  • Apply visual design tools to support documentation, presentations, and communication materials that enhance engagement and clarity.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience managing projects in a professional, multi-team environment with project management platforms such as Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
  • Proven track record of managing initiatives involving software developers and technical contributors.
  • Experience analyzing project risk, including identifying risks and creating mitigation plans.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, multi-departmental environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable leading meetings, delivering project updates, and producing clear, actionable documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Willingness to work outside traditional business hours when needed to meet critical deadlines or support key project phases.
